Description
39 High Street in Inverness is a building designed by William Robertson between 1838 and 1839. It is an astylar, ashlar structure that stands four storeys tall and features a five-bay front. The central three bays are slightly recessed and topped with a pediment. The outer windows on the first floor are tripartite and have a consoled entablature and pediment. There is a panelled cill course on the second floor across the central three bays, along with a cornice at the same level. The building also has a main cornice and a blocking course. The ground floor has modern shopfronts.
