Description
Windmill at Montbletton Farm, built in the early to mid-19th century, features a tall square rubble base that is slightly battered, topped by a tapering cylindrical windmill tower, which is also slightly battered. The structure has tooled ashlar wallhead copes. On the north elevation, there is a long, narrow, round-headed arched opening, and a similar blocked opening that once provided access to the wallhead of the square base. There are iron rings and bolts at the base of the tower on the north, east, and west sides, with a possible additional one on the south side, although it is not immediately visible. The interior has been gutted.
