Description

Early-mid 19th century, former cottage converted to smithy.

Single storey, 3-bay building with small single storey,

single bay extension at W gable. Roughly harled over random

rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Side entrance with

double-leaf plank door and 2 substantial enlarged windows

with vertical glazing; 3 similar windows in rear; diminutive

gable loft window. Coped end stacks, pantiled roofs with

slate easing course on main building.
