Church Of Scotland Manse, 4 Seafield Terrace, Portsoy

The Church of Scotland Manse, located at 4 Seafield Terrace in Portsoy, was built in 1844 with additions made around 1870. This two-storey, three-bay house features pinned tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The central entrance is concealed by a gabled porch, which was added around 1870. This porch has a barge-boarded timber design with Gothic details, a side entrance, and pointed-arch windows with decorative lead glazing. To the left (east), there is a canted window, also added around 1870, which has a parapet. The ground floor windows have plate glass glazing, while the first floor features symmetrical timber sash and case windows with 12 panes. The house has coped end stacks, flat skews, and a slate roof.

The enclosing walls consist of a low coped wall that connects with the church, along with a high rubble wall on the east and north sides. The pedestrian entrance is flanked by bullfaced rubble piers that match the church's gatepiers, and it features a similar cast-iron gate.
