Description

The Company Office at Gordon Barracks in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, was designed by J and W Wittet around 1935. It is a single-storey, five-bay building featuring a wide verandah on the west side. The structure is made of squared granite rubble with pinned sections, complemented by finely tooled ashlar dressings and long and short quoins. The central entrance door is flanked by four sash and case windows that are barred. The building has straight skews and a slate roof. At the rear, there is another block that is similarly detailed and connected by a passage.
