Description

Barrack Block C at Gordon Barracks in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, was designed by J and W Wittet around 1935. This two-storey building features a symmetrical seven-bay layout, with a central gabled bay that projects forward. The gable has straight skews, a stepped skewputt, and a central stack. The structure is made of squared granite rubble. The windows are paired in the outer bays and have multi-pane sash and case glazing throughout. The roof is covered with slate and has stacks at both ends. The entrance is located at the rear, facing south.
