Description
Barrack Block D at Gordon Barracks in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, was designed by J and W Wittet around 1935. This single-storey building features a seven-bay layout with an entrance located in the prominent central gabled bay, which has an off-centre door and two windows to the left. The flanking bays contain paired windows, and the building has multi-pane sash and case glazing throughout. It is constructed of squared granite rubble and has a slate roof. There are paired end stacks and an asymmetrical stack located at the left of the central gable.
