Description

The Medical Reception Centre at Gordon Barracks in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, was designed by J and W Wittet around 1935. It consists of three linked blocks, with the central block being two stories tall and featuring an attached single-story front block. The side pavilions are single-story, connected by low linking corridors. The building is constructed from squared granite rubble and has multi-pane sash and case windows in the main block, while the pavilions have modern glazing. The roofs are piended slate, and the corridors have flat roofs, with random stacks for ventilation.
