Description
The gymnasium at Gordon Barracks in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, was designed by J and W Wittet around 1935. It is a tall gabled structure with flat-roofed changing rooms to the north. The building is constructed of squared granite ashlar, featuring tooled ashlar dressings around the pseudo Venetian windows in the gables. Each gable has a slight forward break, and there are five gabled dormer heads on both the north and south sides. The roof is slate, with straight skews.
