Description

This is a fountain located in Duthie Park, Aberdeen, designed by A Macdonald & Co. around 1883. It is made of pink Peterhead granite and features a circular pool with a rolled edge. The fountain has a rusticated circular base that rises to a polished plinth, which is decorated with four swan spouts. Above this, there is a polished basin and a narrow shaft leading to a small basin at the top, which has a copper spout.
