Description

The locomotive turntable at the Engine Shed in Ferryhill, Aberdeen, dates from the early 20th century. It features a hand-operated steel girder design made by Ransomes & Rapier Ltd. from Ipswich, England. The turntable has a boarded wooden deck and light steel handrails, all set within a concrete and engineering brick pit.
