Description

The monument in Duthie Park, Aberdeen, dates from 1882 and is a grey granite Celtic cross memorial dedicated to the Gordon Highlanders. It features a plinth made of large, roughly cut granite blocks, topped by the cross. The south side of the cross displays the Gordon Highlanders crest with the motto "BYDAND" and decorative Celtic motifs, while the north side has an inscription.
