Description

The Mcgrigor Obelisk, located in Duthie Park, Aberdeen, was designed by architect Alexander Ellis and artist James Giles in 1860. It is made of pink polished granite and stands on a square-plan base and plinth. The obelisk features a recessed tooled grey granite panel on its north side.
