44-46 Upperkirkgate, Aberdeen

44-46 Upperkirkgate is a three-storey and attic commercial and residential building from the later 18th century. It is constructed of roughly finished Loanhead granite ashlar. The ground floor features a later shopfront, with a pend located to the right. The first and second floors have a regular arrangement of windows, while the roof includes a pair of tripartite canted dormers.

The windows are timber sash and case with four-pane glazing. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with grey slate. There is an ashlar stack on the right gable end, and a brick stack that abuts the neighbouring stack to the left. The building has straight skews and cast-iron rainwater goods.
