This is a vernacular house, likely dating from between 1800 and 1819. It is located on Ballyveaghmore Road, near Kilkeel, Newry, County Down, and sits within a pleasant setting.

The house is a single-storey, three-bay structure facing south with an attached outhouse to its left gable, and a further range of single-storey outbuildings to the rear. The roof is slated, featuring rendered copings and chimneys. The external walls are of whitewashed random rubble. A small, flat-roofed porch has been added to the front, along with a modern front door located to the left of the central bay. There is one window in each bay, all fitted with 1/1 sliding sash windows, with partially exposed sash boxes and granite sills. The right gable has no windows. A small, modern scullery is situated at the rear.

The site is marked on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. It is currently used as a private house and is in good condition, although it has undergone some modernisation. While representing a vernacular building type, it does not possess sufficient architectural or historical significance to warrant full statutory listing.
