Description

A two storey/ four bay house facing south. Lower two-storey block at rear forming a double pile arrangement. Pitched roofs have natural slates and concrete copings. Three chimneys – one on each gable, and one on party wall between third and fourth bay. Cast iron rainwater goods. Walls are of unpainted cement render over granite rubble. South elevation has modern front door on left cheek of entrance porch. This has a natural slate hipped roof and a one-paned window to its two sidewalls. 1/1 sliding sash window to bay on either side of porch, and three similar windows on first floor in line with those below. The fourth bay at right has two sets of paired sliding sash windows, one to each floor. There are larger than the windows in the three bays to left. West gable has windows to both floors. Rear elevation abutted by two storey block, with windows and door on left gable. Abutting rear of this block and aligned along side of road is a single storey dwelling in separate ownership. This has cement rendered walls, slated roof and dressed granite chimneys. At rear are miscellaneous outhouses around yard. Cow-tailed water pump in front garden area delineated by rendered wall and mature planting.
