Prospect Cottage, 153 Kilkeel Road, Annalong, Newry, Co Down, BT34 4TL

Prospect Cottage is a one-and-a-half story gabled dwelling house dating from between 1900 and 1919. Located on the Kilkeel Road in Annalong, County Down, it is situated within the townland of Moneydorragh More. The building is now of limited architectural interest due to later alterations. The walls are rendered with cement. The east-facing front elevation features a central entrance door on the ground floor, flanked by a pair of canted bay windows. Two gable dormers are positioned above the bay windows. The windows are modern, top-hung double-glazed replacements. Prospect Cottage first appears on the 1919 Ordnance Survey map; it was not present on maps from 1900-01, confirming its early 20th century construction date. The building is privately owned and is currently in residential use.
