25 Glassdrumman Road, Annalong, Newry, Co Down, BT34 9QJ

This is a two-storey house located on the east side of Glassdrumman Road, Annalong, facing northwest. The house dates to the late 19th century, appearing on the Ordnance Survey map of 1900-1901 but not on the edition of 1859. Construction likely occurred between 1880 and 1899. The roof is gabled, coped, and covered with natural slates. There are two chimneys constructed of rock face ashlar granite with projecting copings; one is located on the right gable, and the other between the first and second bays. The walls are cement rendered. The front of the house has a modern door with a modern side light to the left, as well as two ground-floor windows to the left and one to the right. Four windows are arranged symmetrically on the first floor. All windows are 6/6 sliding sash windows with granite sills. While retaining its original external appearance, the building’s interior has been completely altered and is covered in cement render, precluding it from being considered for group value. The building is currently used as an office, and it is privately owned.
