Glasdrumman Cottage, 344 Glasdrumman Rd, Annalong, Newry, Co Down, BT34 4QN

This is a single-storey, six-bay house, likely constructed between 1820 and 1839. It is located on Glasdrumman Road, Annalong, County Down. The house originally appeared on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834 and was named ‘Glasdrumman Cottage’ on a later map from 1859.

The house has a hipped concrete-tiled roof and three cement-rendered chimneys, each with two large pots. Two of the chimneys were originally positioned at the ends of the roof ridge before a later extension was added to the right. The walls are of granite but are now covered in a modern pebbledash finish. A small, flat-roofed porch sits on the third bay of the front elevation. The front door is margin-paned with coloured glass. Modern top-hung plastic double-glazed windows are present; two to the left of the door and three to the right, one in each bay. A bay to the extreme right was added after the First World War, and a modern, flat-roofed kitchen extension has been built to the rear.

A 1972 survey described the house as a single-storey, T-shaped building, rendered and whitened with a hipped slated roof and three chimneys. It noted a gabled projecting porch flanked to the north by three windows and to the south by two sash windows, some with vertical divisions.

Due to significant alterations since the 1972 survey, the building no longer warrants listing.
