Description

This was a two-storey house, likely built between 1820 and 1839. As recorded on a 1972 survey card, the house was harled (roughcast) and whitewashed. It featured a projecting lean-to porch, with unrecessed sash windows containing three panes in each sash, flanking the porch. Two smaller windows were located above. The roof was slate-covered, with rendered chimneys on each gable. A corrugated iron roofed lean-to, constructed of square granite, was attached to the south side, and two small, plain sash windows were present at the rear. Granite outbuildings, partially whitewashed, extended to the east. The building has recently been demolished and cleared for the construction of a replacement dwelling.
