Description

This is a two-storey, three-bay farmhouse facing southeast. The building likely dates from between 1900 and 1919, although a building is shown on Ordnance Survey maps from 1834 and 1859. These earlier maps show a different ground plan, and the 1901 edition suggests a rebuilding might have occurred at that time. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed granite rubble with a coped natural slate roof. It has unrendered granite chimneys with concrete caps on each gable. The façade features a boarded central door and single windows to either side, with three windows on each first-floor bay. All windows are timber replacements with margin-paned glass and top-hung sashes. While it represents a good quality renovation, the windows and unrendered walls do not conform to local tradition.
