Description

Single storey/ single bay garden shelter in grounds of St. Joseph’s Home, Seaview. Pitched felted roof with overhanging eaves and gables. The left and right gables have ‘A’ framed timber bargeboards with decorative drop finials and curved braces. A similar central front gable has a plain modern bargeboard. Front walls are t+g sheeted over a concrete base. The portion below cill level is horizontal sheeted and the upper part (above cill level) is vertically sheeted. To centre of front elevation, three moulded concrete steps rise to a doorway. It is framed by timber posts with chamfered bases and moulded capitals. From the capitals small arched braces support the lintel over. Door is wide and slides internally. Its bottom panel is clad in painted plywood sheeting and it has two top margined panes. Two pairs of windows to either side of the door. All are margin paned 1/1 fixed lights with a timber mullion separating each window of each pair. Left and right gables each have a pair of similar windows. Rear elevation is blank.
