Description

House at left end of a terrace of six similar three storey/ two bay late 19thC houses facing the sea on NW side of street. Pitched natural slate roof with rendered chimney to either end. Moulded overhanging eaves course carries half-round metal gutters on an eaves board. Front wall is rendered and painted. Continuous moulded cill courses to the upper floors. Left bay is narrower than the right one and contains the main entrance in a semicircular headed opening. Two panelled door has glazed sidelights (with aprons) and consoles carry a timber entablature over the door under a plain fanlight. Directly above is a 2/2 uPVC window to each upper floor. That to second floor is slightly diminished in height. The right bay has a canted bay window rising full height, with canted natural slate roof tied into main roof and sharing common eaves. Each face of the bay window has a uPVC window. Those to sides are 1/1 and that to front is a wider 2/2. Those to second floor are slightly diminished in height. A rendered wall and hedge enclose front garden. Modern front gate. Left gable fronts Slieve Foy Place and has a modern 1/1 top-hung window at left between ground and first floors. Right gable is party wall with No.14 Seaview (HB16/12/017B). Rear elevation was not inspected.
