Description

Second house from left end of a terrace of six similar three storey/ two bay late 19thC houses facing the sea on NW side of street. Pitched natural slate roof with rendered chimney to right end. Moulded overhanging eaves course carries half-round metal gutters on eaves board. Front wall is pebble dashed. Left bay is narrower than the right one and contains the main entrance in a semi-elliptical headed opening. Modern door with sidelights (with aprons). Consoles support timber entablature under fanlight. It is abutted by a modern glazed timber porch (on dwarf brick wall) with hipped artificial slate roof. To each floor above there is a single modern timber top hung window, with that to second floor diminished in height. The right bay has a canted bay window rising full height, with canted natural slate roof tied into main roof and sharing common eaves. Each face of the bay window has a modern timber top hung window. Those to each side are narrower than that to front. Those second floor are slightly diminished in height. A modern brick wall and steel railings enclose front garden. Modern front gate. Left gable is party wall with No.13 Seaview (HB16/12/017A). Right gable is party wall with No.15 Seaview (HB16/12/017C). Rear elevation was not inspected.
