Description

The building comprises a pump situated outside 51 Carrowclare Road, Limavady, Co. Londonderry. Likely constructed between 1900 and 1919, the pump is of industrial archaeological interest. The pump has lost its handle and spout; only the plain, spirally decorated column remains. Inscribed around the head is “D Christie Coleraine”. The pump is located on a prominent corner position, as shown on the 1923 Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (PRONI Ref OS 10/5/5/15/1).
