Description
This is an early 19th-century house located on Clooney Road near Rascahan, Limavady, in County Londonderry. However, substantial alterations have significantly changed its appearance to the point where it is no longer considered of particular architectural interest.
The house is two stories high and has a pitched roof, but both have been considerably altered, resembling a structure from the mid to late 20th century. A 1970 survey described the house as a 2½-story brick building, three windows wide, with a slated roof. The lower windows on the front elevation have been replaced with double-hung sash windows featuring a horizontal division. The upper windows retain their original full glazing bars. One of the lower windows was originally wider than the others.
The house appears on a map dated 1830. It is currently used as a private residence.
