House. Early C19 remodelling of early C17 house, with C20 demolitions and remodelling. Ashlar on coursed squared stone plinth. Hipped slate roof, with pair of symmetrical slender brick stacks. Rectangular plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys reduced from 3 storeys in mid C20. Front is a 2-storey, 3-window range of 3/6 sashes with plain painted lintels and moulded keyblocks, the central bay slightly recessed; doorcase with open pediment and semicircular fanlight with intersecting traceried bars; projecting bay windows flanking door with tall 6/6 sashes, narrow side lights and C20 hipped slate roofs. Single-storey wing to right formed from the former wider 3-storey C19 facade, now with double garage doors. Left side: 2-storey, 2-window range of 6/6 sashes at first storey over 2 ground-floor 2/2:6/6:2/2 tripartite sashes. Right side: single 3/6 sash with flat painted keyed lintel, ground storey covered with projecting single-storey wing formed from the former larger C19 house and incorporating 2 3/3 sashes with flat painted keyed lintels.
