Description
Upper Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with later extensions and alterations. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features plain-tile roofs. The building has an L-shaped plan with later extension wings and includes a partly projecting stack with a brick upper shaft, as well as a 20th-century brick ridge stack on the extension.
The exterior is two storeys high. On the right side, there is a projecting gable with a three-light casement window on both storeys. The central section has a single-casement range, featuring a 20th-century three-light casement above a three-light casement from the 19th century, along with a plain doorway that has a 20th-century enclosed entrance porch under a lean-to roof to the right. To the left, there is a later gable end with two 20th-century two-light casements on the first storey and a combination of 19th and 20th-century casements on the ground storey. The street side displays a central gable of the extension wing, which has 20th-century casements in both storeys. The rear of the building has later extensions covering the right side.
The interior has not been inspected.
