Description

This is a large cottage dating from the early 18th century, with later modifications. The walls are constructed of local stone in a random coursed pattern, and the roof is thatched with coped gables. There are brick chimney stacks at one end and off-centre. The cottage is two storeys high, and has a lean-to extension along most of the front. The fenestration is random. There are two doors in the lean-to, and three late 20th-century timber casement windows on the ground floor, with three smaller, older casement windows above. The western portion of the building appears to be a later addition. A rear porch to the store features a reset stairlight window. The interior was not inspected.
