Description
West Mudford Farm House is an early 18th-century farmhouse built of red brick in Flemish bond, standing on a stone plinth with Ham stone dressings. It features a plain clay tile roof with coped gables and end brick chimney stacks. The building has an "L" plan and is two stories high with three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with two glazed panels, framed by a stone architrave and topped with a flat moulded stone hood supported by console brackets. The windows are three-light hollow chamfer mullioned types without labels, featuring rectangular leaded panes, and some have old casements with wrought iron fasteners and stays. There is a small single-storey extension on the south side, constructed of brick with a clay tile hipped roof and a two-light mullioned window.
