Description

The pier at the entrance to Butleigh is made of ashlar and dates from the mid-19th century. It is square in shape and features a moulded plinth, a moulded string course, and an elaborately moulded over-sailing cap that has a base for a finial. This pier is included in the listing for its contribution to the landscaped grounds surrounding Butleigh Court.
