Description
The boundary pier located at the junction of Bath Road and Back Montpellier Terrace in Cheltenham dates back to around 1820. It is constructed of ashlar stone over a brick base. This single corner pier stands on a chamfered plinth and features a panelled shaft with a shaped capping, topped by a shaped finial. The pier is an important feature of the streetscape and contributes to the setting of the adjacent property, No. 103.
