Description

The boundary pier at the junction of Suffolk Road, located on the boundary of number 2, dates from around 1820 to 1832 and underwent restoration around 1990. It is constructed from rusticated ashlar and features a cornice topped with a pineapple finial. Park Place, where the pier is situated, was developed by 1832. Although it has been much restored, the pier remains an important feature of the streetscape.
