Description
The gate piers and boundary wall to Number 21 Fullwood Park in Cheltenham date from around 1830 and have been later restored. The structure has an irregular U-shape, with walls facing Suffolk Square and extending along Suffolk Road, then returning to Southwood Lane for approximately 140 meters in total. It includes a pedestrian entrance to Suffolk Road and two pedestrian entrances to Southwood Lane. The gate piers are made of stucco over brick, standing about 2 meters high, featuring chamfered plinths, square shafts, a frieze cornice, and shaped caps. The brick walls are also approximately 2 meters high and topped with stone coping. The pedestrian entrances have plank doors and elliptical arches. This structure is a significant feature of the streetscape and is part of a distinguished group of listed buildings in Suffolk Square.
