SO9422SE PROMENADE 630-1/13/758 (West side) 14/12/83 Corner pier, railings and pier to north-east boundary of No.133 (Formerly Listed as: PROMENADE (West side) 5 piers at No.133: one on boundary to NE and 2 pairs of gatepiers to SW and SE)

Railings and 2 piers. c1830-34, with later restorations to corner pier. Rusticated ashlar pier, square on plan with fluted capitals and carved 'pineapple' finial. Cast-iron spearhead railings for approx 6m and further brick pier, square on plan, with ashlar capping. A significant streetscape feature, forming part of the setting of No.133 (qv); part of an impressive group of piers with Pair of gate piers approx 4m to east of No.133 (qv) and Pair of gate piers approx 4m SW of No.133 (qv) Promenade.
