Description
Lyndale is a house built in the early 19th century, featuring a boundary wall and gatepiers along the road. The structure is made of rendered rubble and has a Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. It stands three stories tall and has three bays, with an extension at the ground floor that serves as a base for a verandah above. The windows exhibit mixed styles, including sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor and casements above, complemented by rusticated voussoirs and louvred shutters on the first floor. A 20th-century glazed porch is present. The verandah is supported by wooden posts and diagonal struts, topped with a 20th-century glazed canopy featuring cast iron panels with enriched railings, all framed by low, ramped walls. The boundary features dressed stone and brick piers at the road, with a ball finial on the left-hand pier. A rubble wall connects the piers, sloping down to the center, which is marked by two smaller gatepiers, although the entrance is currently blocked.
