Description

34 Honeypot Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with an overlight, set within a reeded architrave and topped by a flat canopy. The windows are two-light sashes with margin lights and flat arched gauged brick heads. The eaves cornice displays sparse dentils.

At the rear, there is a parallel range built in a different style and slightly later in date, which is stuccoed and also three bays wide. This section has a central door framed by an architrave with pilasters inspired by the Corinthian order, and outer floor-height windows in architraves with consoles supporting a projecting entablature. The first floor features sixteen-light sash windows within similar architraves, and there is a parapet above.

The front garden wall is attached to the house and includes wrought iron railings and a gate, supported by hollow wrought iron piers with an elegant design. This wall connects to a small outbuilding on the right, which is made of brick and has an embattled parapet, a two-centred arched doorway, and a renewed window. The rear garden wall serves partially as a retaining wall, constructed of brick with rounded brick copings and buttresses.
