Description

The National Westminster Bank is a house and bank building from the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior that is grooved to resemble ashlar stone, with a rusticated ground floor. The building has a low-pitched Welsh slate roof that is hipped to the left, along with brick chimney stacks. It stands three stories tall and has five bays. The ground floor has modern window frames, while the upper floors contain sash windows with glazing bars set in slightly raised surrounds, featuring rusticated voussoirs, except for the second floor. There is a frieze on the ground floor, and the doorcase has a moulded architrave with console brackets supporting the cornice, leading to a modern door located in the outer bay on the right.
