Description

The Dragon Book Shop, located at No 14 Bath Place, is a mid-19th century building featuring a stuccoed gable end that faces west down Park Street, adjacent to an earlier brick structure. It stands three storeys tall with a mansard roof covered in old tiles. The gable end showcases elaborate pierced bargeboards adorned with quatrefoils, and there is one window per storey, along with a canted bay on the first floor. The windows are wood casements with shouldered lights. The shop front dates from the 19th century and includes a crenellated fascia with some original glazing bars. No 14 is situated at the rear on Bath Place. The Dragon Book Shop, No 14, and the buildings on Corporation Street and Wall form a group with all the listed buildings in the Crescent.
