Farmhouse. C17 and later. Local stone rubble with ashlar dressings; plain clay tile roof between coped gables set on carved kneeler stones; C20 stone chimney stacks. "L"-plan: 2 storeys with attic, South elevation 2 bays with 2 bays return: C20 reconstructed stone mullioned windows to all but upper window of Eastwards return, which is 3-light ovolo mould mullioned window without label, having leaded lights, centre set in wrot iron casement; C20 cambered arch doorway; in South gable of return a 3-light ovolo-mould mullioned window to both ground and first floor, and a 2-light to attic, all with diamond leaded panes. Inside a number of stopped and runout chamfer beams, good moulded cambered arched fireplace with incised spandrils, elaborate chamfer stops and overmantel shelf, repositioned from room above; in side of chimney breast Cll safe with wood door and frame; above, transitional plank and +untinllraoet partition; roof frame with pegged collar-trusses with tenoned purlins, 5 bays. Westwards wing had to be nearly completely rebuilt in 1970s: property first mentioned in an indenture of 1679.
