Description

Lower Shalford Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built from local stone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof with wide eaves soffits and has a central stone and brick chimney stack. The building has an "L" plan and is two storeys high with three bays on the southwest elevation. It includes 12-pane sash windows set in plain ashlar surrounds and a central plain door with a doorway. There is a return wing on the northeast side that has a plain gable and segmental arched casement windows. The interior has not been seen.
