Description
Roundhill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built from locally sourced stone that has been cut and squared. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof and a central brick chimney stack, designed in a villa style. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has 9-pane sashes, all set in plain openings with voussoired segmental arched heads. The central entrance is a six-panelled door with a margined rectangular fanlight, framed by a timber surround that includes reeded pilasters and console brackets, supporting an open pediment. The interior has not been seen. There are wing walls with semi-circular arched gateways on both sides, with the western gateway leading to a 20th-century garage with a hipped roof.
