Description

Dairy Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was modified in the 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of double Roman clay tiles with overhanging gable verges, and there are brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of three bays, with an additional one-bay extension that matches the main structure. The windows are late 19th-century casement types. In the second bay, there is a doorway with a 4-centre chamfered arch and a plain boarded door. On the east gable, there is a reset single light 17th-century elliptical headed window set in a rectangular recess with incised spandrils, and there are signs of similar blocked windows on the west gable. The interior has not been seen.
