1/65 Dairy Farm House

II

Farmhouse. C17 origins, modified C19. Local stone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings; double Roman clay tile roof with overhanging gable verges; brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with a one-bay extension to match. Casement windows of late C19 pattern; to bay 2 a 4-centre chamfered arch doorway with plain boarded door. In East gable, reset, a single light C17 elliptical headed window in rectangular recess with incised spandrils; signs of similar blocked windows in West gable. Interior not seen.
