Description

Blandford House is an 18th-century detached house. The front facade is constructed of Ham stone ashlar, while the sides and rear are of local lias stone rubble. The roof is tiled with a stone slate base course and stepped coped gables, and it features rendered brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It has sash windows with 20 panes on the lower floor and 16 panes above. A semi-circular dormer window is centrally positioned in the roof. The centre bay features a six-panel door with glazed toplights, set within stone surrounds incorporating Doric pilasters, a plain entablature, and a pediment. 20th-century extensions are present to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
