Description
Weigh Bridge Lodge, dating from the late 18th century, serves as the lodge to Marston House. It is constructed from coursed and squared Doulting rubble and features a wooden tile half-hipped roof with a central brick stack set at an angle. The building is rectangular and designed in a Gothic style, comprising one storey and an attic with two bays. It has two-light stone mullioned windows, each with a semi-circular head. On the right side, there is a door opening framed by a chamfered stone surround, leading to a plank door. A former pointed arch door opening on the right side has been converted into a window casement with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a rubble wall extending 9 meters east of the left side, topped with flat coping, and there are double plank gates.
