Description
Church Lodge is a lodge to Marston House, dated 1834. It is built of coursed and squared Doulting stone with a half hipped wooden tile roof, featuring wide eaves and paired diagonally set rubble stacks with caps. The building has a Tudoresque style and is a single storey with two bays. It includes three-light stone mullion and transom windows that are set under stopped labels. The central door opening is framed by a moulded four-centred stone surround and has a ribbed door. Above the door is a small niche with a pointed head. There is a 20th-century open gabled porch on a rubble plinth, and a canted bay projects from the left return.
