Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Ilchester Road in Limington. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings, and features a thatched roof and end brick chimney stacks. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a west elevation with four windows. On the left side, there is a three-light casement window with an exposed timber lintel, leaded glass, and iron bars behind it, followed by a boarded door set in a heavy frame. Next is a two-light plain chamfered stone mullioned window within a former labelled doorway, and then a three-light hollow chamfered mullioned window with a label. The upper windows are three-light casements set into the thatch. The south gable is rendered and has a hollow chamfered mullioned window without labels at two levels.
