Description

This is a 18th-century cottage located immediately south of Lower Farm House in Limington. The building is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, with exposed timber lintels and a corrugated iron roof set between coped gables. It features two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The central door has a label mould above it, and there are casement windows with three and four lights, most of which are boarded over. The top window in the bay has been replaced with opening doors. There is a later two-bay extension that projects northwards, which has a double Roman clay tiled roof and 19th-century doors and windows. The cottage has been disused since March 1983.
