Description
The Village Stocks, located 30 metres east of the Church of St. John the Baptist, are possibly from the 16th century. They are made of oak and feature an iron hinge and hasp. The stocks are small and low, with four holes and no seat. They are protected by a 20th-century shelter that has a timber boarded roof. This structure is a rare survival in East Somerset.
