Terrace of 3 houses. c1830. Stucco over rubble or brick; stone coping to gabled slate roof; ashlar and rendered stacks to gable ends and party walls. Double-depth plan, each with central stairhall. 2 storeys with semi-basement; each of 2-window range with central porch to No.28 and outer canted bays. The composition is terminated by canted bay windows which have 5-pane casements with horizontal glazing bars, surrounded by scrolled cast-iron balcony railings; the first-floor French windows open onto the balconies; otherwise 6/6-pane sash windows with 2- and 3-light casement to the basements. Steps with railings rise to the doorways, Nos 26 and 30 have cast-iron railings. No.28 has a Tuscan porch. Panelled doors with overlights. Bracketed eaves. C20 flat-roofed dormers with slate-hung and boarded cheeks. Mid C20 one-storey extension to the right. No.30 has a C20 conservatory to the left side. The terrace is of similar composition to that of Nos 20, 22 and 24 (qv), although less altered. INTERIORS not inspected.
